TOWN OF ORIENTA
SNOW PLOWING INFORMATION
Due November 1st

Snowplowing Fee:
The yearly fee for the snowplowing season is $100.00 per driveway. Payment must be received by October 31st or a late fee of $25.00 will apply.
No services will be provided if delinquent bills or delinquent personal property taxes are due to the Town.
If you plow your own driveway, please ensure no snow is left on Town roads. (WI State Statutes 86.01 – Materials left in highway; penalty)

⚠️ Snowplowing will not occur if payment is late or driveway does not meet the listed requirements.

Snowplowing Requirements:

  • The Town is not responsible for any damage to property.
  • Driveways must be a minimum of 20 feet wide.
  • Overhead clearance must be at least 14 feet.
  • Adequate turn-around space must be available at the end of the driveway.
  • Gated driveways must be accessible at all times. If a gate is closed, the driveway will be plowed during the next regular round—no special trips will be made.

Agreement & Acknowledgment:
In consideration for snowplowing by the Town of Orienta, the undersigned agrees to keep the area clear of items that could be damaged by snowplow equipment and acknowledges the above requirements.

Private driveway plowing will only occur after all public roads, school bus routes, and mail routes are cleared, or at the discretion of the Town Board.

The Town of Orienta, its officials, and employees shall not be held liable for personal injury or property damage during snowplowing.
